Students on the Musical Theatre Pathway at LSC join Seedtime in their final year. As a company member, they receive advanced professional performance training and work towards two major events; Agents’ Week and their final musical theatre production.
What is Agents’ Week
Every year, Seedtime Musical Theatre Company invite representatives from a select group of UK talent agencies to visit London Studio Centre and meet the current cohort. All students perform for agents, presenting a showcase of technical work, and a selection of newly choreographed musical theatre and jazz dance pieces. The students also get the opportunity to meet the agents individually, where they will be invited to sing (and in some cases perform monologues). Agents’ Week is a major event in the academic calendar for Seedtime students, and rehearsals take place for several weeks to ensure the best possible performance.
For the Seedtime 2026 Agents’ Week, company members performed dance pieces from musicals including Dear Evan Hansen, The Wiz, A Man of No Importance and Damn Yankees. Solo songs were chosen by the students, with guidance from Clare Bloomer, Artistic Director of Seedtime, and their vocal coaches.

After their visit, the agents contact the Artistic Director with requests to discuss representation with selected students. Interest is shared with the students once Agent Week is over. In 2026, 27 students performed in front of 34 agents over the course of the week. This resulted in 192 invitations to discuss representation, with some students receiving invitations from more than 20 agents.
After many meetings, all students from Seedtime 2026 are now signed with agents and have the support they need to enter the profession.
